In Cameroon, we referred to Gnetum Africanum as Eru. In Nigeria, it is referred to as Afang or Okazi. They are also prepared as vegetable or soup. We also sell a form of Pumpkin leaves which are vegetables and are very medicinal too. This leaves are called Okongobong in Cameroon while in Nigeria, it is called Ugu leaves. The seeds are also harvested and are called Egusi. They are used to cook Egusi: Pudin, Soup and Sauce. They are also use to form a paste when cooking other vegetables.
